Hello everyone. there are many small updates all bundled together in this post. I am working on fixing critical bugs and balance issues atm.

Updates

Did a balance pass on world 2 map 1
Did a balance pass on world 2 map 2
Reduced Flamer armor from 5 -> 4
Increased the splash range of defenders from 30 -> 40
Capped fps to 120.
Added in spore artillery descriptions.

Bugs

Fixed a bug where the defender was using the wrong particle effect when splash was upgraded.
Fixed a bug with the evolution chamber where some evos were not wanting to unevolve.
Fixed particles spawning at world 0,0
Maybe I fixed a crash with particle effects?
Fixed a bug with the evo chamber not counting well.
fixed a pathing bug that would lets buggos run outside the map.
Fixed a bug where deleting a spore turret would still spawn spitters.
Fixed a bug where those spitters spawned by the deleted turrets were immortal. This causes so many down stream issues.
Fixed a bug where spore artillery spawning swarmers would mess with enemy target finding

Gun Turrets overpowered?

So I get that the humans have been buffed in this game, but the gun turrets are ridiculous for the early game - rapid firing, aoe attacks that one shots any bug? Really? I'm sure that once I get enough evo points it'll become trivial to overpower these, but right now when I only have enough points to just about get spitters I don't have any options. Just feels like I'm only barely about to push through a gun turret chokepoint by sending several hundred bugs at a time, which is kinda offputting when I'm on...

Demo v3 Major Update - New planet

New

3rd planet has been added.
Completing the hardest mission on a planet now rewards 2 evolution points instead of 1.
You can now go back to previous planets you have defeated.
You can now replay levels you have completed.
Swarm Capacity bar in the bottom left. Removed the label in the top right.
New tooltip gui when you click on units. It's locked to the bottom middle.

Update

Updated attack particle effects for defender
Updated attack particle effects for marine
Updated save panel buttons
Updated the tutorial planet (overworld) to be graphically more inline with the rest of the planets.
Fonts all over the game.

Bug

Fixed a bug where defender max health upgrade was going to the entire swarm.
Fixed a bug where deleting a unit does not subtract its amount from spawn cap.
Fixed a bug where the building rally point would stay when deleting building ghosts.

Update

You can now set pins for spawners that are still being built
The build menu starts open
Tutorial level 3 - have the player make 4 swarmer dens and 2 hives instead of the reverse
Tooltips now show spawn information for spawners

Balance

swarmer den and spitter cave Spawn rate increased from 1 -> 2 seconds
Command Centers spawn rate decreased from 25 -> 15 seconds
Turrets damage increased from 10 -> 15
Turrets APS increased from .75 -> 1.5
Flamer Academy spawn rate decreased from 35 -> 25 seconds

Bugs

Disabled spawners that are destroyed no longer show the red x forever
You can no longer place the wrong building on a mission objective building preview ( or misplace it half way)
Fixed a bug where some buggos could become orphaned and not listen anymore
Fixed a bug where armor was not applying to buildings
Fixed a bug where builders were attacking from too far away
Fixed a bug where swarmers were attacking from too far away
Fixed a bug where spitters were attacking from too far away
Units and buildings can no longer target things that are not alive

Buggos 2

Demo not opening

I just downloaded the demo and was exited to play because it looked really fun, but when I click play it opens an invisible tab that closes after a few seconds, so does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? Also it could be that I'm not using a very high-end laptop, and am hoping to get a better one for my birthday. I hope someone has a idea or it's a bug (pun not intended) that the devs will fix soon....

I just kinda broke the game

Upgrades: - Full builders (except the node that prevents them from fighting) - Full artillery - Full Goo It snowballs so fast and so hard. As soon as you have like 10 hives (within the first few seconds of the level) it's out of control. With the upgrade that buildings are automatically reconstructed once destroyed, they're basically indestructible as long as builders run past it. So I am just some random guy on the Internet but this is my take. I can't help but to feel Spitter, Warrior and the spore turret kinda useless. Spitter does very little damage, has little HP and meh range. So they are just ranged fodder but.. The investment to get to them, you could just instead use ya know, the Defender which is one million percent just better in very area even with investing. What made the Spitter kinda useful was it could hit two targets in the first one. Since it can't, I would just ...
