Hello LazarusX2K,
Your DxDiag shows that you are using Intel integrated graphics which doesn't meet our minimum spec. Are you running another card? Some computers (mainly laptops) have auto-switch technology which allows them to switch from a lower performance graphic processor unit (GPU) integrated to the motherboard, to a dedicated and high performance GPU. However this auto-switch is not done automatically and therefore you may encounter issues with the game.
If you encounter performance issues or crashes while launching the game while using a laptop please ensure that you have:
1. Connected you laptop to a power source.
2. Updated your GPU drivers.
3. Set the power settings to "High Performance".
To set your power settings on High performance please follow these instructions
NVIDIA Graphics Card
In the NVIDIA Control Panel:
1. Go to "3D Settings" and select "Manage 3D Setting".
2. In the "Global Setting" tab, under "Prefer Graphics Processor" select "High-performance NVIDIA Processor".
3. You can also add "GooG.exe" into the list under the "Program Settings" tab, and select "High-performance NVIDIA Processor" under "2. Select the preferred graphics processor for this program".
4. In this folder, select GooG.exe . Click on "Apply" and Close the Control Panel.
Grey Goo is usually installed on C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\GreyGoo
ATI Graphics Card:
Double click on the ATI icon in the Task Bar to open the Control Center:
1. Click on Gaming and Select "3D Application Setting".
2. In this window, click on "Save" and select "GooG.exe".
3. In this folder, select GooG.exe. Click on "Apply" and close the Control Center
Grey Goo is usually installed on C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\GreyGoo
Please let me know if this resolves your issue or if you need further assistance. Thank you for your patience.
Brian

Umm, well what if we don't want to buy a whole new ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ graphics card and monitor if we have a laptop? Unbelievable.
I'm having the same problem on my win 10 pc.
Wanted to try this over the free weekend.
Installed on thursday night and played a couple of hours - Friday after re-booting windows I get this stupid error message.

I have grey goo installed on an ssd and am on 358.50 geforce driver.
The solutions on this thread aren't relevant for my setup but i ran grey goo as administrator and it still crashes on startup but without the crash reports.
Probably would have bought this if it worked though..
I contacted Grey Goo Support and they responded within minutes.
I was very impressed with how quick and helpful there support was.

Done.
Why? I know its not the graphics. I am running the game on a Windows 10 Gaming Desktop. My graphics card is more than enough to run a game like this, and yet it keeps sending me this report. Why? It seems its been 5 years now and the devs still haven't fixed it. I deleted the game various times and reinstalled it, I tried to change the launch options in properties, and even checked the files. EVERYTHING IS FINE! Why does this keep showing up?
