missing executable error fix?

i keep getting this error come up and ive done the fixes that steam told me to do but nothing works and when i try to validate the files it tells me that there are 3 files missing and trys to download them and then gets stuck and restarts the download HELP PLEASE???!!!??

hmm strange you tried uninstalling entirely then reinstalling the game?

yeah tried all that nothing worked

-uninstall the game
-turn off anti virus
-restart steam "run as administrator"
-reinstall the game
-start the game with anti virus off
-re enable anti virus

programs just dont dissapear, its getting deleted by either you, windows or your antivirus.

i am encountering the same problem and have tried all of these and even uninstalled steam and re installed still getting the same thing

is your anti virus completely(including firewall) and while the antivirus is off are you ferifying file integryti and launching it from the ingame .exe file?

yeah the problem was macafee my comp had a corrupted version i had to uninstall as soon as that was done steam patched the files perfectly thaks
