Slow thinker obviously should play TBS, not RTS.
I didn't say dumb, I said slow thinker with 0-50 apm for example.
Starcraft 1&2 are the hardest games in the RTS genre but if you like slower paced games both will be disgusting, I agree.
Grey Goo seems to be a nice entry level RTS, so you might enjoy it more at the beginning. Still, I think you should check out SC2.
edit: Starcraft is more technical, it kinda feels like "paper - rock -scissors" - in a good way. Gray Goo is about unit spam, as far as I could see from my short encounter at a friend's house.
edit2: I completely disagree with a claim that Starcraft is all about APM and gray goo about strategy :) Starcraft is very easy to learn, but hard to master - when it comes to balancing micro-macro gameplay. APM is a term that makes no difference on lower tier game matches and completely does not exist when playing single player.
Unless you want to beat Koreans in multiplayer, it is just pure fun with even 6 actions per minute :P
Grey Goo imo seems like a complimentary game that fills the void in the market for people who can't handle the APM requirements for SC2.
/thread, amen to that, close the thread now.
Hell, in bronze legue 35% of people have APM of 1 to 29 and even in GOLD 44% have APM from 1 - 59, which is really not that fast.
edit: Good luck playing the Goo faction with low APM.
Oh god, another person ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about price. To describe a $50 price tag, in 2015 no less, as unfair....well, that has to be the single most ridiculous comment I have ever heard on gaming forums. It may be too high for you, but to describe it as unfair is nothing short of comical. Its actually unfair that developers can't charge more than $50 bucks, given that is the same price gamers have been paying for 25+ years. Every other market on the planet see's regular price increases due to inflation yet game developers are stuck charging the same price they were 25 years ago. Again, thats the only thing unfair about this price tag. I hate to say it , but PC gamers are just total cheapskates.
But yeah i still keep an eye on the progress of grey goo.
