Alternative paths? SPOILER WARNING

First off, I just wanted to say I played through "The Fall" and I absolutely loved it! The story was engrossing, gameplay was solid, and the puzzles were *just* hard enough that they were challenging but not so challenging that I need to constantly consult a walkthrough. I only had to seek a hint once (that damn crying baby). I loved this game!

Normally with a story driven game I'll wait a while before attempting to play it again unless there are some differing arcs in the story. I didn't think there was but now that I look back I see a few places where there might have been. For example: any way to drain the labs without "killing" the droids in stasis? The mainframe is very specific about it being a "choice" .... for that matter, any way to save the Mainframe from reformatting? Any way to activate some of the other systems restricted by ARID's protocols?

If there is alternative paths I will play it again immediately. If not, I'll give it a few months (probably right before The Fall 2 gets released).

I think the only way to alternate a playthrough is to choose different dialogue options where the conversation does not allow to go through them all (but ends after you've made your choice). In my opinion these alternate options do provide an additional perspective, but no big coherent path.

Perhaps one particular, non-dialogue-related choice you have late in the game might influence The Fall 2's story?

I don't *think* that that decision is likely to rear its head in any story altering way in the next instalment.

Hehehe. I know, I wanted to save the Administrator so much, I did EVERYTHING i could to first check all options real quickly before Caretaker shows up, and then tried to not enter the Security Droid storage pod. I was sad when I found out Fate is cruel to everyone...

I don't know if you guys saw the red text in the begging where it gives you the option to lie. I'll be honest I didn't even hover over it I was scared to think what would happen, but I don't know if you can or if it affects the story at all.
