I've done it in various ships to test my setups, each requiring a specific strategy to succeed. You will take hull & systems damage, is unnavoidable. But can you kill everything and also deliver the cargo to the station? And if you do, can you say it wasn't challenging?
PS: Running away / abandoning missions doesn't count for not getting killed with MK VI gear. I can play with the starting ship in MK I gear and just hang around a station and say wow the game is so freeeeeeaking easy, look at me, extreme threat systems full of MK VI opponents and they can't touch me! ^_^
I do think at the heat deflector is very OP because I found myself intentionally ramming missiles in order to charge my shields which all seemed a bit odd.
I wonder whether certain saves get to a point where they bottom out on difficulty and other do not? I haven't done enough play throughs to know whether this is true, has anyone else noticed anything like this?
Cheers,
Cheers,
Or you can just start a new game and play more friendly towards them :)
