I got a mission called "Starborn's Good Deed"

The reward is 20573 credits(+). What does the plus sign mean?

It means your targets will have parts and high value cargo on them to sell for additional credits or keep for yourself. I got a Mk5 Scatter Turret and Greel Whisker as my highest cost salvages off of a Red Devil Lucifer target for a mission called Sons of Morning that had the same reward style.
