If you cheat yourself money and buy a bunch of ships what are you going to do? Sit in them and look at them? Because otherwise you'll be using those ships to do those missions."

"You don't have to do missions to make money. Go to one of the hardest difficulty systems (they are rated mild, normal, hard, extreme) and just fly around looking for nebula and junk fields. Press E to drop out of warp close to one and then press F to do a pulse. If there are cargo containers in the nebula or junk field they will show up as purple diamonds.

While at warp you can see nebula and junk fields in the distance as clouds. Just point your ship towards one, drop out near it, and pulse. It's that easy. If the pulse shows cargo go get it.

In one of the extreme difficulty systems in my game on average I get about 20k to 30k credits from a container plus a bunch of rare commodities. Stuff like greel whiskey, meteor diamonds, designer clothes, etc.

Do make sure to have a good engine and a null grav booster. If you get dropped out of warp by pirates you will need them to run away. Don't even try to fight these guys early on. I have a Mk.3 engine and Mk.3 null grav booster and can run away fairly easy.

The Radovich is a great ship to use for this. It's fast and has a nice cargo hold. "

Of yourse, if someone wants to cheat in a singleplayer game, it is his responsibility, and as it won't hurt anyone else, he should knock hisself out. But it's still feasible to tell him that he will only hurt himself, and that the real question is, why he even bothers playing the game if he is unable to cope with the challenge and just wants to go easy mode!

I mean, the game is not that hard, and if you are only in for the story, you can easily experience that while playing it easy. But if you are in for more than the story, then why the f' would you want to water down the experience?!

I'm too find it strange that people want to cheat in the game when grind is core mechanic with all profit from trading, delivery, bounty hunting, piracy etc etc, but hey, i used cheat engine when i beat game without cheating like 4-5 times (for mods of course), so you can use CE or just find yourself a table that someone already made, there is plenty of them.

You don't need a cheat code.

The game already provides boat loads of money in the form of asteroids with the Face of Gozu in them. There has always been at least one in the start system of every game I played. Leave the system and go back and it refreshes for a never ending supply of Faces of Gozu.

Why would you feel the need to comment on an insult with your own insult?
Last I heard, two wrongs still don't make it right.

I would be more concerned about an old topic being resurrected with no addition to the discussion.

I don't really understand what some people's problem is with cheating. People have their reasons for wanting/needing to cheat. I'm only hear because I accidentally sold the f*cking emp launcher and don't want to waste an hour grinding missions to buy it back.

The point of playing games is to enjoy oneself. Sometimes, that requires a little extra help to fix a problematic game flaw.

Too bad there isn't a real cheat without using untrustworthy 3rd party SW.

Those were the two acceptable answers you can give. Anything else is wasting time for everyone. No need for snark, no need for condescension. No need to even to discuss why a person wants cheats.

If you know about it and figure out how to find them the face of gozu fields can give you unlimited cash.

If you are asking for a cheat than perhaps a google search could be used to find a few of them. Or you could use the 'cheat engine' to find where in memory the money value is stored and change it. It is really not that difficult. But for most players the Gozu field is the easiest option.

You receive 100% of the equipment or ship value when reselling in Rebel Galaxy. The only way to lose money in this game is to fire ordnance or to jettison cargo.

Not true. The specific EMP device I referenced is sold for exactly 0-money. Someone who actually played the game, and not someone trolling, would know that... or I guess you could have memory problems and should seek medical help for that.
