Patch 1.07 Notes (Live)
1) Saves do not generate backups unless the playtime is >10 minutes - that way people won't accidentally obliterate their backups if they get a corrupted save from Steamcloud or some other vector, and then hit 'new game'.

2) Many delivery missions have had their ambush ranges altered so you have more reaction time, and in some cases the number of opponents has been reduced

3) You can autodock by touching the station even if a cargo is nearby

4) Certain 'rack' ship scaffolding models have been reconfigured so that their targeting centerpoint is better located.

5) Fixed some incorrectly hostile traders in a mission

6) You can 'stealth-dock' at hostile Outsiders stations if you have a story mission on them (citizenry stations already allowed this) without having to fly off and wait for them to de-aggress

7) Fix UI diamond placement issue (need to show on jumpgates) for out-system dead drop missions

8) Quadrophonic/5.1 sound issues in some setups resolved (FMOD has implemented fix)

9) Made it 100% impossible to dock while dying

10) Rufus escort mission now always chooses an outpost, never a planet, & now uses the same path-checking code as other escort missions to ensure it doesn't pass too close to one.

11) (PC) Launcher can be skipped with SKIPLAUNCHER commandline option

12) in some rare drop-retrieval side missions where you can intimidate them into giving you the cargo, they'll properly count toward retrieval (Orion Slaves)

13) Fix for Blackgate sometimes using a different color badging setup.

ooo other stuff... Get well soon :D
Fix the shield/hull indicators/alerts. The current state that they're in right now is absolutely terrible.

Love it <3
Hope to see more ships in the near by future.
[Also plz find a way to make escort missions with the escort ships following us, that would make them better and less of a drag.]

:steamwings: Get well and safe flight. :steamwings:

Very nice, and no wonder you have a cold with the amount of work you guys have been putting in - get some more rest.

I like the mention of possibly being able to skip the launcher. It hasn't bothered me but I've read a few posts from people who really do find it grating so it's nice to see that's on the slate.

Good luck with it.

I hope you get to feeling better soon, Travis.

First, hope you feel better.

Second, I have a question. Do missions spawn enemies based around what your equipment is?

Because if that is the case, it would explain everything about my sudden insane difficulty spike in the MK4-MK5 range of the game.

I'd take a Low difficulty mission, in a low threat system, that sold MK4 gear tops. Then the mission enemies would feel super tough compared to normal... and drop MK5, sometimes MK6 weapons. My very first MK6 weapon was a pulse turret, dropped in a mission taken from a MK4 tops system.

This all started happening right around when I thought It was clever to buy MK5 shields/deflectors/hull early. While I Still had mK3 engine parts, and my weapons were a split between MK3 and MK4.

Suggestion for this: Add an option for "skip launcher on startup". Can be checked/unchecked both in the launcher itself and the in-game settings menu. When it's on, the launcher automatically just starts the game up with your current settings. When it's off it displays the launcher.

I'm not sure how easy that is to implement, but it seems like a good way to include it in the UI.

Or just add a command line option "-nolauncher" for the steam properties.

...or that, yeah. lol

EDIT: I should probably not be posting ideas when I haven't slept for 20 hours... lol

You guys are truly awesome. One of my best game purchases this year hands down.

Actually your idea is more user friendly as it has been my experience that a lot of users don't like messing with command line start options.
