How to find more Pirate Lords?

I have the same problem 11/20. There wasnt a single spawn in the last 6 hours.

go to a bar and pay for bounties. After you hunt 5 or 6 bounties, pirate lord will appear on map. warp after him, kill him, rinse and repeat.

I just haven't tried to finish this achievement yet. I could finish a few today if I have time.

My first pirate lord was a single frigate. My second pirate lord had 4 desroyers with him.

I hunt in the MK 5 & 6 sector. I sell the MK5 gear straight off and hold onto the MK 6 gear. Never know it could be useful one day

I have been working on this. What I have been doing is flying around to other systems and the pirate lords have been appearing. Sometimes there are 2 in one system. There doesn't seem to be any reason why they appear. No docking or anything. It could be that I am getting random interactions and getting up to 6 bounties, causing them to appear.

More than 25 bounties and no pirate lords in any system.
(Mk5 and mk6 sectors, also lower sectors).

I tried the bounty method for a short time, still not finding any more lords. Haven't found any since my last post on the 3rd, it's now the 6th

Just got 3 in a matter of 30 minutes, seems random so keep an eye on your maps !

Pirate lords are like trams - there won't be one for hours and then suddenly a dozen turn up at the same time.

Got 20 pirate lords finally. Took 56 hours. Just kept system hopping and spending a minute or 15 in each system. Sometimes I'd do missions, sometimes I'd break up invasions and such at stations and get into random encounters. Basically I did random stuff and just checked the map often. 1 more achievement to go to 100%, need to shoot down 175 more torpedoes.

i did shoot 82 torpedos though i have no plan how. secondary is not counting. any advice b4a.jgrahl or anyone ?

I seem to have shot down more torpedoes when using a different ship. It probably has to do with battery placement and ship size. I'm considering switching to the Scarab, which I used before the Blackgate. The Blackgate has 3 separate batteries sections and the torpedoes seem to hit or pilot right towards the sections where there isn't any broadside batteries.

Pirate lords are system events like war, famine tech boom, etc... so you have to clear the system events to get a chance to spawn a pirate lord. ones that you can clear are invasion, siege, embargo, crimewave. clear those events to start a new one and hopefully get a pirate lord. The convoy inbound may be one you can clear as well but not sure.
