Alien Artifacts, Where to find them ?

As the title.

where in the world do i find these alien artifacts ?

I have a mission: Blockade run Alien artifacts. Reward, 434k credits.

it wants me to find,collect then delliver them.. but for the life of me I have only ever seen 2 of them, I swear i have looked in every single station ive come across so far and they dont apear to sell them, I have also destroyed a good amount of asteroids with my turrets and still hove not gotten any..

I am guessing I would have better luck with a mining laser insted... maybe.. if so, what asteroids should i be targeting in hopes of seing them pop up to collect ?

Ive hit up google, but nothing is really comeing up to tell me where to find these damned things

They're very rare, but they show up in some stations, you can occasional find a merchant willing to sell them to you, and they can drop from asteroid mining. I've only ever seen them drop from the pointy rocks while mining, but I've heard they can show up in ice asteroids too.

Try a station with tech boom stat if my memory doesn't cheat me.
I also found one when I trying the mining laser in a random resource location. I think it's just a random spawn, with a rather low chance.

I find them from all sorts of pirates.

Also make sure that your mission doesnt have multiple waypoints. Usually at each waypoint your find a friendly trader or merchant, scan them. If they have the artifacts in question, them and their escorts will turn hostile and start attacking, usually with reinforcements on the way.

Mining > Tech boom station > Traders .. Sweet,

Hopfully Mining does the trick since I dont think i've seen a tech boom station yet on my travels when I first started looking for these damned things lol.
