I don't understand how to use all the turret setting options
One of the earlier tutorial popups said you can adjust the way turrets fire and behave in the options menus. I must be very lame, because I can't find anything about setting up how turrets behave.

Supposedly you can set them on autofire, or to only fire on certain targets, etc? How do you do this, please?

So far, I have just been switching to turrets manually with the up/down D-pad, and firing them manually, then switching back to broadsides and firing my big guns.

So, please, how do you use turrets effectively, and how do you change their autofire settings, or whatever.

Thanks!

Pause the game and slide to "Tactic"

How do I slide to Tactic, please? I don't even know what that is. I am using an Xbox controller, if that matters for UI purposes, and how to do stuff.

LB / RB to slide to difference menu while pause the game.

Ok. Thanks! I had absolutely no idea there were even any more menus! Was that even explained anywhere in the tutorial?

Yes, it explained in the tutorial, although you can see it for yourself that you can slide to difference menu. The LB and RB button prompt are show at top left and right of screen.

I completely missed it in the tutorial. And, I just never looked up when I pressed the Start to pause. I just figured the first screen was the only options you had in the pause menu.

Wow . . . there's a ton of info in the pause menu screens. Thanks again!

So, my last question - if I set my turrets to only fire at a certain target, can I still dpad up/down to them and fire them manually? And, when I go back to broadsides, will they return to their auto firing option that I assigned them?

Yes you can fire them manually. It will do as you told when you are not in control of them. Beware, if you set your turret to shoot at Fighter, it will shoot at Fighter only even no Fighter available which mean it will don't shoot at all. This hold true to other setting. There might be priority setting in future update. I recommend you to use "Locked Only" if you wish your turrets to focus fire on a target of your desire. Just look at someone you want dead and hit LB to lock-on.

Especially the last Story battles against the Viriax...
