Buying/Selling Ships Question

So i bought a new ship and paid in cash for it. My old ship was gone and i didnt get any credits for it even it was about 300k worth (the ship alone, NOT the equipment).

All Gear went onto the new ship but still i didn't get any coin for my old ship, whereas if i would have bought a more expansive one i would have gotten a discount (worth of my old ship).

Is this working as intended? Smells like a bug to me =/

You do not receive a discount for more expensive ships, nor do you receive any cash back for your current ship.

The only credits you can receive via ship buying is if you buy a ship that is lower in price than your current one. In which case you receive the difference in cost as a "refund".

Gear does not come into the equation at all.

you're 300k ship lowered the price of every ship that cost more than yours in price by 300k. it doesn't show it its just build into the game.

an example i was riding around in the ship thats just a mil shy of the blackgate when i went to purchase the blackgate it was only 1 mil ish. think its original price was around 16-18mil when i was in the starter ship
