The first system usually have a station or three that give out missions that increase their status with you. But that usually means other factions will start hating you, like the civilians, militia, and the like.
But if you do accept a red devil mission, see who it is against. You probably do not want to make the civilians or milita angry at you, not sure but that might stop you from landing on their bases.
Look for red devil missions against the other pirates that do not have bases. But honestly, I never saw any benefit to siding with the red devils.
They offer missions for both sides, no matter your current standing.
Do not care who the opponent is until your militia rep gets really low.
Otherwise, the Outsider bases are the place to search. If you want to stay friendly with the Militia, then the first system has a +20 Red Devil / -20 Doublejack mission that occurs regularly. The second system has a +30 Red Devil diamond shipment escort (ouch) mission that pops up frequently as well. I think the Murath or the Korians are on the negative end of that deal, but who cares about them anyhow? :P
