Rebel Galaxy Outlaw not on Steam? no problem i wont be buying it on Epic Store.
Just like with the case with the metro exodus devs. These devs and pulbishers they are almost as if they are either pushing, forcing their consumers to switch to a different platform just to play their game. Even as far by making statements like these.

Will the game come onto Steam and other platforms?
Yes but not for a while.

Will Metro Exodus come onto Steam?
Until a year from now Feb 2020.

This pure anti consumer.

I'm done with you . You lie about me, you are putting words in my mouth that I didn't state, you are being completely dishonest here, I didn't make the claim you are claiming I did, stop lying. The one being immature here is in fact you. i don;t have to defend myself against your lies towards me. Bye.

I got the first game for five bucks along with 12 other games and bought it again for a dollar for a freind.

yes you got the game on sale, and there has been sale on the game a lot, but the game always maintained the same base price the entire time. If the developers never felt it was needed to drop the price of their 4 year old game, outside of sales, then there is no reason for them to drop the price of RGO when it comes to Steam, and that is ok. So fully plan on it being listed at the current base price when it comes to Steam.

Oh look, refusing to prove his claims and doing the usual deflect-and-refuse-to-admit-you're-completely-wrong routine, exactly as I said. Almost like you're following a script with pre-determined responses and decisions made for you ahead of time. Still, they're not going to pay you for constantly losing arguments and ducking out when your lies get challenged; you're here to improve Epic's image, not to fail to defend it.

The game should come to Steam cheaper than it is on the EGS, because it'll be old news at that point. Eisberg even agrees with me, since he can't defend any other position in regards to it.
Imagine being such a douche you throw a tantrum about a company using a different gaming company besides steam. LMFAO. Grow up.

While I can understand your disregard for people having opinions about companies that are not steam, It is within their right to have their opinions about the companies in question..

Also while I personally have no problems with purchasing games from Epic, nor their business practices of getting exclusivity for a set period of time, It is quite understandable why so many see this as a major issue..

The simple fact is that resorting to telling people who have issue to "grow up" is rather childish in and of itself..

Then again this whole discussion has gone down the toilet in the past 800 some odd comments so whatcha gonna do :P

If it came to GoG i would have no problem or if it came to every platform but Steam im still ok with that but going to one platform is giving us the same problem consoles have and im not a PC gamer to be forced to use something worse than what i have.

I would think deleting saves would be enough of a reason to not want to use Epic but dont worry there are lots of other reasons.

Same problems as consoles? Since when you do you have to buy whole new hardware in order to play games on Epic? I'm playing RGO right now, and I didn't have to buy any new hardware in order to use EGS at all. So nope, not the same problems as Console at all, no where close, actually not the same at all.

Saves were only being deleted because people were choosing the wrong option when there was a save game conflict for cloud saving, Epic gives an option to choose when there are conflicts, the same exact way as what Steam does.

He said the "same problem", not "same experience". That problem being fragmented collections and friends' lists.

a problem with Console exclusives is you have to buy the hardware in order to play that exclusive, that is not a problem with PC exclusives. That is the problem that people have been talking about with console exclusives for years, and nothing about "fragmented collections and friends list".

Once again, as per the usual for you, you are wrong.

See, I was trying to be gentle, but you're just too salty to ever try to have an argument in good faith. Oh well.

The terms "Console Wars on PC" is hardly new, and has been a mainstay of the Epic vs. Steam discussion since it all started, and with good reason; exclusives are something consoles first pioneered. Why, you'd have to have your head under a rock in order to not know anything about this!

Yes, and the console problem was having to pay several hundreds of $ on different hardware in order to play a game, which is massively different than downloading a free piece of software. People started to use the "console war" in a desperate attempt to add more smoke and mirrors to what they were really crying about, which again, is nothing more than "I don't want another icon on my desktop"
I mean personally just the fact people come to steam to talk about games on epic (given the lack of features of that launcher) is already a valid point not to want to buy on it. I will happily wait for borderlands 3, and pretty much all the epic timed exclusive to be on steam before buying :)

Exactly. Epic can snap up the impulsive customers with no self control and everyone else can enjoy the backlogs they have.

not to mention that after the year or however long the exclusivity is gives time for early release patches to be added to the product for when it does come elsewhere

That's like a post-order bonus !
