Are you on beta? there you can unlock the naval command harbor and assign combat captains to sail your own flagship and several ships following you around. Or command them separately with the 2 key (via map or in the world)..

There are already quite a few combat captains around, not every 1K , they come in batches, for the non freehouse factions at the very top, for freehouse reasonably early..

Sadly, everyone captain is on mission to patrol my trade routes ... and die rather quiclky.
Any option for me to somehow stay safe is to teleport to near building and quiclky fly to another fight - and they are big. Enemy always attack with full force and got the same force in every town.
Adding to that, that I must manualy buy eveything (where is a option -> buy all?) full scale war scenario is rather boring.

A buy all button or double click is on my to do list ;)

Any advice how the total conquest scenario can be improved further?

Right now, I only have some "ideas" but nothing specific, so...
For me, power of army in this game should be somehow connected to number of people in X settlement - yes, every settlement should have they own "ships".
That is why I give - every 1k pop in X settlement we get 1 ship.
Adding to above, in every settlement one harbor can be upgraded to Shipyard (and still act as a harbor) and here we can buy ships to protect that settlement or to join a naval army...
BUT! Now a little twist;
From 1k to 10k -> only small (medium?) ships
From 11k+ -> we still retain those ships above, but now we can build medium (big?) ships
If somehow settlement get above 21k -> we can build one huge dreadnought.
So, we have small fleet, and with little twiks, like; every 1k after 20k we get 1 small ship, and every 2-4k one medium.

I should make some more smaller battleships I guess ;) and then a random patrol function perhaps? so you can have em go about and defend your settlement..
hmmm
lemme digest

I agree that would be really neat, as your nation grows. You have a fleet that "passively" grows alongside the others as you continue to expand with your mercantile ships and possibly roaming falconeers, patrolling around settlements and perhaps assisting the defense of the trade routes as well. Perhaps having several battlegroups through the Command Harbor that are dedicated to different functions such as patrolling, general defense and offensive.

Falconneers or different units perhaps could spawn or develop around command towers and citadels to enforce and reinforce defensive locations. As more of a militia then your dedicated battlegroups, surveyor squadrons.

Really enjoying the recent Naval Command updates and am looking forward to discovering a lot more within the game. It could be really cool versus directly "base-building" these things in a sense and the different factions could also have different behaviors or stances as it comes to this.

there could also be smaller patrol boats/air ships that spawn and auto-patrol mercantile routes, but only for a certain distance.

Hi everyone! :)

Patrol motorboats. Perhaps a half size & smaller once, in compare to a battleship size?

And armament: A smaller size of 1 cannon in front & 1 AA in the rear back? :)

But having 2+ faster speed. Auto patrolling around the settlement.

Sounds kinda real & really nice idea I must say.

Great ideas everyone! :)

BR AN.

I was thinking the heal/repair function should have a rebuy button underneath..but it's kinda tricky what are you rebuying..

for now (cuz of time/release) I just made the buy button a ton faster.. click click click and units are there
no having to wait a second
