harbour connections
Hey guys

Is it possible to disconnect a Harbour and reconnect it somewhere else? So far the only solution I managed to figure out was to dismantle the Harbour all together and rebuild it if I wan to redirect resources to other cities, and the way some islands are made makes it that if I want to reconnect that island again in the future it's going to be tedious to place a new harbour(s) again

at the moment yeh demolishing an end or startpoint is the only way. I have on my list to try and find a way to do this on the map,, but it's non trivia.. but it's on my to do

Hi everyone! A new comer here! :)

Does it matter of a Harbor Original & Harbor End is placed?

For exempel, If I want to gain Workers from an outpost, should I place the Starting Harbor there & End Harbor at home capital base?

And sorry for a few more minor questions.

1.) How do I create Tower cannons in my capital city?

2.) I found some of those Wonders/ I think they are guilds sayvors summit? Or what they are called, It says, press RMB to upgrade, but it does not work?

3.) How do I get flying battleship hovering in my Capital city?

4.) I´m still in the Tutorial first phase :) And having some nearly 2000 population. Or so around, still learning & figure out things, an amazing Water sea world saga, absolutely amazing! <3

PS. one more thing, if I dumb in more extractors into Wood or Iron, do I gain in more resources? I think it did, another 20+ it said next to my old extractor that allrdy was 20+

Hi. No the order doesn't matter any connection is both ways. :)

Tower cannons come in two ways
1 ) any command tower you build a wall out of will spawn occasional gun turrets when on solid rock and fairly straight

3) the mancer gunner builds a gun on any small balconies you put on their command tower.

4) I think that is an oversight wonders and unique buildings cannot be upgraded. Will fix.

5) the big airships come from commanders you can find if you hit certain population targets AND you make that faction your dominant faction and unlock a leader (so you specialize in that faction)

6) yes multiple extractora can boost each other

Yes!

What I noticed in this version & maybe others as well by now, IF perhaps it´s not just a simple bug in my own starting campaign??

Guilds, and Cannons tower Commander summit, if I´m not mixing up the many titles out there.

What I meant last time, is that, none of those things in my game are actually able to upgrade? Yet it still says, RMB to upgrade the structure?

Either perhaps it´s a bug? Or I´m missing something out?

And they are connected to the city resources as well.

Also, before I started to play the game for the first time, I also assumed that, I could create my own towers into cannons or naval arty & such. That was not the case.

I do understand in some ways why & it´s ok.

But who knows, perhaps such will changes in a near future + with more balance testing & such? :)

Cannot wait to try out the final version of your todays "Beta" version, after 13th, once you all get all right & good to go!

Tomas said in the latest YT clip what the Ai will be attacking alot more often & or in diff ways & several waves & or wider ship patrols hunting groups?! :) A much real living AI, in the next version & that is wonderful to see & I hope it will be a challenge to the test for sure.

I have been thinking tho. The factions & there home bases are: Pre loaded pre made, correct? The AI at this moment cannot build expend there own settlement, correct? Expect perhaps upgrade there default structure & gain extra buffing resources in real life time?

So if am correct + that the AI factions "AI" also cannot expend to other Islands & or take over the other factions bases. Then it´s all pre made maps bases AI´s by default at the moment in this final versions of today, Correct? :)

So for such new AI director where it can expend & build larger on its starting bases & expend outwards into other Islands or take over other factions main bases & newer enemy islands, then there would been a need of a whole new AI system coding, correct?

If so then I understand & such takes a lot of time, but I would urge that a such new system in a future for this kind of game world, would been needed & even a lot more war mongol or economical or diplomatic AI, in the future! :)

I then came to the idea, to short it down, if the funds & time arent on your side atm in the company?

To use the initial AI that you have today in your latest beta version.

But use the main same WORLD MAP and all the true real locations spots.

But then just perhaps create places & AI faction Bases as like.

Easy, Medium & High & Extreme Large City factions starting builds, by there default starting locations on the map. :)

Then you would only need to rebuild Ai´s main starting Island bases & the players/consumers would have there challenges for the time being, I think then the game would been lasting for some longer time in that extension.


But ofc, an AI that could build in real life of there own main starting Island & then explore for new resources & new Islands & or wage war vs the other factions would been something amazing.

+ Even having 3-4 diff AI´s General Commander, functionality thinkers. Some are War mongols & strategical, Others are more for resources, economical, explore or tech or more friendly & diplomatic. Like some of such we seen in many older good classical games, in the past! :)


Anyway, this was just some of my ideas to increase a long living lasting game of a tour campaign start & challenges & surprises, that players/consumers strife for & loves to see in games & much more. I do very well know that it´s a very early start yet still & a lot of ideas are upped on your table & to come out one day as well, in a near future & I will deffo personally support it as long the world, this Universe saga expend it self outwards & forwards! :)
