Your own Server with Hamachi.

1.) Make a network in Hamachi.
2.) Your friends should be in this network.
3.1) One of you should start the Server (Create Server). DON'T CHANGE THE PORT (28000).
3.2) If the menu of LiF show up, press the key for the console (German-Key='Ö')
4.) Type this : joinToRemoteServer("XX.XXX.XXX.XX:28000","")
and press enter. Just copy the ip of the host (Hamachi) and replace the 'X-Section'.
5.) Now you should be able to play with your friends. :)

What ports do we need to open if we choose NOT to use Hamachi?

Create server as in a Single player world with a password or literally download, Instal and run the Dedicated server?

Can you make a Youtube video of a detailed in depth guide on how to do this because me and a friend are doing exactly as you say here but it's not owrking.

If it doesn't work then you make something wrong, 'cause if you follow the steps it must work.
It worked for me though. :)

Yesterday I found your post and I was glad I did! Everyhting worked fine with the frist try. I entered the command and less than one second later I was on my buddy's server. We wanted to continue our adventure today but now it's not working anymore. We checked everything for about 10 times. Anti virus is off. Hamachi is on. Both PC's rebooted... I tried hosting as well. Nothing....did something change over night? I'm used to Hamachi/Tunngle and other stuff. But I can't find a reason why it is not working anymore. Yesterday everything was fine and worked just from the beginning.
