Change default Database name?

I am attemtping to set up a dedicated server for Your Own. In the past I used local MariaDB Databases to host the server which worked alright. But I am hosting various games on the server now, and some of them also needed databases. I ended up deciding to use my websites MySQL database to run my other servers databases on, as to prevent confusion.

In this case, I must name the database with my account name, prior to any custom database name I give it, as I am hosted on a virtual machine. Is there a way to specify the dedicated server to use a custom database name, as opposed to lif_1? Thank you.
