Sword and Sickle?
The logo for the game shows a sword and sickle crossed, much like the communist hammer and sickle would be. Is this the intent? Because communism is not feudalism... at all. Is there a history to the insignia that I don't know about?

There are lot of symbols that are crossed swords. Then why not sword with sickle?

The communist symbol is a hammer and a sickle. Besides, this is a game and is in no way intented to reflect anything real world other than the technology and lifestyle of the feudal era. FYI: The Nazi swastika was stolen from some ancient religious symbol. Point is, humanity tends to recycle old symbology again and again with different purposes. How many know that if you connected the stars on America's national symbol, it would make a star of david? There's all kinds of stuff like that all over the place.

I wasn't intending to say that the game couldn't or shouldn't use this symbol. I was just wondering if the intent was to draw parables to Communism, or if there was history I didn't know about.

Sword and Sickle in the logo basically represents the duality of the game nature, its core elements. Sword stands for PvP and fighting in general. Sickle stands for crafting, farming etc.
