D3DERR_UNAVAILABLE CREATE DEVICE FAILED please help!!!

Life is feudal finally finished downloading and when i go to start it, it says this:
D3DERR_UNAVAILABLE
Not available
GFXPCD3D9Device::init - CreateDevice failed!

is there any ideas on how to fix this because i just paid $40 for a game that won't start.

i can't seem to find one that works and also all their problems are different. Their errors are like invalid calls and other types of error.

The problem I run into is I am unable to find a Pref.cs file as that last thread states

C/program files/steam/steamapps/common/life is feudal your own/data

use notepad to open and edit the file

Well ... And who said I got a game on C: drive? ;)
I don't and I don't have such file in game directory.
Any idas how to manage that other then reinstall on C: ( i will have no free space for that)? :)

You can look in whatever drive you have it installed on it shouldn't matter. Windows folder settings will sometime hide files. You need to right click on the folder and select options then enable "show hidden files".

I haven't had any luck finding a solution wherever I go so I'm bringing this back up. Sorry if I missed an actual, working solution for a majority of folks.

This is what I did:
*Fresh install
*Removed daemon folder, validated game cache
*Updated DirectX
*Changed my resolution through pref.cs to my computer's resolution
*Rebooted

I'm stumped on what else I can do so I can play. Any ideas please?
