Can't kill animals.

A friend was unable to kill a bunny even after stabbing it for ten minutes.

Me and another guy faught a wolf unable to kill it even with pitchforks and fighting it for a solid 5 minutes.

What the hell is going on here?

are you dishing out damage? If so....then they must have ALOT of HP...

Only issue I've seen is with a hare. Arrows apparently don't register on them all the time. I had five arrows on the hare, but only the last dealt damage. Every other animal has been slayable for me so far.

i was doing 1.2 damage to a wolf for about 15 mins it still lived, three hits and i was dead, i was using a primative knife

wolfs have about 200 hp you need atleast iron tools or a sling if you want to kill wolfs and boars even then you will get banged up. Use water to confuse them just standing in knee high water some times stops them swim out if you taking too much damage when you've done enough they start to run away, stay at range give them a minute then you should be able to walk up to them and hit them all you like or tame them in case of the boar.

thanks for that i still cannot use a sling i am not sure how to use it yet
