Irregular alloy and Vostaskus bar

Hello,

we manage yesterday to get 4 Irregular alloy.
Unfortunatly nobody in our group was able to do anything with that.
We were planing to smelt it to a Vostaskus bar but had no success.

Any hints here?

You tried it in a Bloomery with 90 skill in smelting and the proper equipped tools? I didn't made them myself yet but that should work.

Yes we were using the Bloomery. And both guys that tried to smelt it were at Skill 100 in Smelting. Both have the "good" metal tools for smelting.
But both got the message "you can not do anything with that object" or something similar.
And by the way we also tried running the bloomery with Charcoal, because we thought it maybe require more temperature. No success ether. :-(

Any other ideas are highly welcome...

It might not have been included yet, I can't find a lot about the Vostaskus bar itself either, nothing to be found in the bug tracker about it aswell.. Might have to wait for one of the Dev's for a definite answer..

Sorry for asking this but:
A lot of people told me that crossbows and Bows are not implemented. This is not true. Killed a couple of animals yesterday with these weapons.

Me too killed some mooses with bow and arrows. Easy kill and about 20 damage per hit. Next I'll try xbow and bolts, but now I have to gather herbs for a week, maybe i get 20 flux to make 1 steel ingot :p and a lump.

I wonder where you got that information abu the monkey, cause the official wiki says it is actually implemented but there is no more info to find on the subject.. So please include a proper source for your claim.

Vostaskus may be so End Game that nobody really knows as it's not been made so far without GM commands.

That's why I said we should wait on a Dev to confirm (or someone who made it succesfully already without GM mode) but then abu the monkey comes in with a claim where Im really wondering where he got that from.. If it is a false claim or a guess then its really not helping anyone.

What? Vosk is in game, can be made, etc. It just has no uses. What exactly are you doing wrong?

That was nmy question. We made a Vostakus bar but we were not able to use it for something
