Has anyone ever found clay on the smaller island?
I staked that land out as mine, and I am experiencing clay stock issues.

I think that's an intended disadvantage to claiming the island, means you need a trade ally on mainland or venture there yourself but risk attack :)

I was afraid of that being a possibility.

If you open your map, and zoom in, you will easily spot clay as light-brown 'cracks' on the map.

I searched the small island and found no clay, didn't bother to dig anywhere, so it's still possible to find it underground.

So clay can be found underground? It's not just in the small crevices on the mainland?

That would be music to my ears. The amount of surface clay is entirely to small for the size of the island.

I have found clay before by lower the ground on sand tiles, though you will have to move a bit of sand, and there was only 60 clay per tile.

I guess that's better than nothing. Do you know how deep the clay crevices have clay tiles? I'm really worried about a clay shortage. There honestly doesn't look to be enough on the whole map for even one serious kingdom, let alone multiple competing kingdoms.
