How do I continue to advance this skill? I got my gathering to level 30 and unlocked the herbalism skill, but I don't know what to do to gain exp in Herbalism. Any doctors out there willing to help a newbie out?

I think I'll throw my question in here...

Once you make the mixtures (or 'preparations' as the game calls them) using Herbalism...how do you actually -use- them? right clicking on them doesnt produce anything.

it wont. You will need alchemy to mix them to potion form.

various. best for you to experiment, you cant use those anyway yet, you will need to advance herbalism to open them

Ok so I won't worry about the catalyst slots. But what kind of ingredients go into the ingredient slots? I've tried berries, roots, mushrooms

Ok, I've tried using a few combinations of 2 different herbs, but when I press craft and the progress bar completes, there is no result. I don't get any product or information or even a message saying I got EXP or I failed. Anyone know a fix?

no fix needed.
your not finding a recipe yet.
check your system tab, it should tell you the result if the pop up didnt, but to be honest I dont recall ever getting one for Herbalism. That part should be there yes though.
You will get a few recipes found. just keep at it.
WRITE THEM DOWN lol, the system does not give you a recipe book.

i have advance alchemic i put 1 herb makes flux + 1 herb makes flux (not same tipe) and i put another organic catalyst that makes flus aswel in result bar >i should get 2 flux but i still get just 1 its bug?
for flux (dont need botles)

if i put 3 hebs (flux and organic cataclyst) result 3.0 but get just 1
