Crafting: Are attributes actually doing anything?
I was looking through several wiki-like pages and the Steam forum as well and couldn't find an answer to this rather simple question:
Are attributes actually doing anything concerning your crafting skills?

For example: I have high Intellect and Agility.
Will my Herbalism skill yield more or better quality products?
Because if it doesn't: Intellect is completely useless.

PS: While I'm at it and in case a Dev is reading this:
Intelect should give you 10 (or at least 5) points for your skillcap instead of just one.
As of now this little skillcap increase is simply irrelevant.
Even a single point in any other attribute is worth more than 50 Intellect.

The attributes is a HUGE factor. constitution gives you loads of health for example.
strenght is good for melee weapons, as the give you more damage per hit.
i dont know if they do anything when you are gathering and mining, but in combat its so important.

That's exactly why I'm asking.

I'm currently playing on an RP server as an Alchemist.
If I need Intellect to craft high quality things: So be it.
If I don't then Intellect is simply a waste and I'd be better of skilling... well, anything else.

ATM, what you are talking about, does not apply.

Intelligence currently only effects the maximum amount of skill points total you can have. So Int is only usefull currently on low skill rate servers.
