Straw is not food. Farm animals will not thrive on it. It is filler. If you don't care about producing anything from your animals sure, feed them straw. In reality though it would only be used to keep them from starvation if you had nothing else on hand and could not for some reason let them out to forage.
weat and flax is a well balanced recolt that you need only one part or the plant... I'd like to see more things like that
Buzzz... thank you for playing. While true that apple seeds (and biter almonds, prune and apricot pits, et. al.) have an incredibly small amount of hydrogen cyanide in them, your body doesn't store it. You could chomp a handful of apple seeds every day of your life and never suffer from it (well, all that fiber might have an effect). Flax is a little different, but similar. The thing is, cooking it in other foods removes the toxin entirely. Equally, your body processes a certain amount of cyanide every day, anyway (you even need it for brain function from what I've read). So, yes, cyanide is toxic, no, it does not icrease toxicity over time.
