Flax seed uses.

Are there any use for flax seeds beside planting them from flax stems?
Drowning in them and seems like a waste if you can only use the stems.
Why not use Quern-stone to grind seeds into oil or something?

More uses for flax seed would be awesome. Honestly, I've never tried to use them as animal feed in game but in real life they are used for that purpose as well as medicinal uses.

"Then to keep moving forward with the process, you need to create a Tanning tub and place your Flax stems inside and let it boil. This will give you Flax fibers. You can add 10 Flax stems at a time and receive 20 Flax fibers after an hour.

When you have boiled the Flax stem in the Tanning Tub (60 procuration required), you will recieve Flax fibers which you can create Hank of linen in the Spinning wheel."

I think the discussion is more about the seeds and not the stems...

You need a lot of flax.. for:
Buildings, lamps weapons, clothes, armor and bandages.

I produce thousands of flax seeds per week, and with no use for them other then a few for replanting, but for every 1 used i get 2-12 back.
So i end up sacrificing them.. or rather tossing them in the sacrifice bin along with bones and somthing silver to just make it dissapear... witch is both a shame, and a waste of time witch we have enough of in this game.

Grinding them to oil, or allowing it as feed (for chickens perhaps, maybe mixed with grain?, like 10 seeds 10 grain mixed together = 40 chicken feed?)

Thinking about oil. It could be used for frying in kitchen. Also for that would be needed not cooking pot, but frying pan. To make oil, you would have to build a oil press. Or wine press can be tuned also to make oil from seeds.
