Will they ever resume development or make a sequel to this? IMO, LiF:YO Is far more successful and interesting than anything the MMO has to offer. I feel like they killed the golden goose for a deformed egg.

Well it slowly devolved to the point where theres too much cheating and toxic behavior.
It seems that society needs people to act civil, or it falls apart (even in online games)

No, its abandoned, sadly they went spiteful at end and made update so YO can not be played properly like Outpost etc. I think they tried to push to MMO but as stated its just a hack fest and cheats even at one point they lost control of the site for guild management.

So new group tapping the can for second round chug at your wallet, but again wont go anywhere and YO will languish and not be fixed or made playable to try to force you to MMO
