Or if you're really hurting, fired clay tiles will give 1,000 per clay tile. Stack of 100 gives you 100,000.
In the early stages I usually just sacrificed metal bars, you end up with so much while levelling forging/smithing.
But simple crafted jewellery is awesome - I often found amulets while digging and farming and used those, the stats on them are ok but you can craft better ones quite easily once you have the supply of gold/silver.
The gold/silver amulets you find while digging will give you 300,000 points if you sacrifice them. So they are the best option. Quality 50+ gold lumps will give 300,000 as well.
Overall though, I tend to use arrows or crossbow bolts because they are quick and easy to make and don't require limited resources. I have also used food made with items I end up with too much of, such as meat. The more complex the recipe, the better, but as others have said, fried beast, bacon or boiled chicken works fairly well if you have a lot.
