STR and other stats!
I know 150 is max for stats, no stat can go higher than 110 and no stat lower than 10.

If I wanted to be a Full Plate wearing, 2h weapon type, would going full 110 str let me move faster and do more dmg than going, for example, 60str and 60 agi?

Does each stat have a 'soft cap' where more points give less effect after a while?

I have heard that after 70str, all STR has huge diminishing returns, not sure if that is true or not.

If anyone can shed some light on this, id appreciate it.

Thank you, everyone!

A:300
C:300
I:100

Yeah I have been trying to look for some up to date stat-build guides myself, I did wonder at what point stats might or will start giving diminishing returns in certain aspects.

I thought about playing a more lightly armoured character with leather or light chainmail and using two handed axes and two handed blunt weapons, so I could use speed to get in and do some nice damage and get out. But it's hard to plan for when I am not sure how possible that is due to stats limitations, like how much Strength would I need to nullify the weight penalty of light chainmail and a weapon, so I could further plan on how much Agility and Con I would be using.

This is quite a technical topic and with the mmo on the horizon I'm willing to bet that the players who already know these answers won't be willing to share, considering the competitive nature of the game. However, if there are practical answers out there, they would be nice to know.

yea i think wisdom is the best, go 110 in wisdom, gives u a decisive combat advantage, i've written it on the internet so now it's true.

Well, it's not exactly a secret, it's just not knowledge that not everyone has learned or looked into properly to give a good answer on. With the MMO on the horizon I believe it will be the opposite, more people are going to play, guilds will be bigger and more numerous, people are going to share knowledge more.

Look at any MMO/RPG, there is hardly a "secret knowledge of builds", people that think they retain an advantage by not telling others their "super secret stat build" are not the majority, there is someone else out there who will tell the player that's asking and that player will be grateful for it, which is useful in a game like this as having a potential future ally is always a good thing, considering there will most certainly be plenty of enemies in the MMO.

Before the MMO comes out I can probably learn the best ratio of strength vs agility to wear chainmail or leather so that my Strength removes as much weight penalty as needed, with the rest in Agility to give all that extra speed on top. But asking first would save me that time I would use experimenting too wildly and would allow me to have an efficient aim beforehand, then allow me to slightly alter it to my tastes. If I have to do find out myself I will, but any help and knowledge I would always be grateful for.

@Cinstea, I see you seeing me, lol

Guess I need to stop thinking through my fingers. One thing though, when was knowledge not known by all ever not a secret? lol. For real though, detraction was not implied, seemingly assumed, but not implied. Putting my clearest English forward... I would also like to know the answer in the original post. Help me, please!

For a person familiar with programming, changing the statcap is a simple task for several days :).

true, as it does. but another feature is to F8 and F7 in other dedicated servers like fly around the map like in GM mode but can not lookin players things, build or delete anything in other server owners server just to use the F8 fly mode as iv got it to work in 3 servers so far, like fast travel but there are limits to it of course. but its going good so far.
