What to do with region labeled items?
Just got a hide with a region labeled under it. Is there something special these are used for?

Yes you need it for the heavy and royal armors.

You have to mine out some region labeled ore and craft that into what you need.

Got some sleepers ore while taking as much ore as I could from a mine. when I put the sleeper ore in a special location on the ground it no longer became sleeper ore and I lost it's bonus abilities. Do I have to take this ore straight to my bloomery before leaving it somewhere to rest? And how do I know what sleeper region I am in and what sleeper ore is applicable for use for me? I have the blue print for the full plate vambrace and it requires sleepers hammer 6 for small metal plate. Where in the map do I find this? I have found sleepers ore but it is not the sleepers hammer variety and instead is sleepers forge. so I don't even know if I can use the sleepers forge when the blue print wants sleepers hammer. I just don't know which region is where if thats applicable. I should also add that I'm playing a custom map. it's the one with all the rivers dividing the place up into almost 6 islands with a huge mountain in the bottom left. or south west if you prefer.

As you wonder around the map as you cross into a different region you will get a message pop up on the screen with the name of the region you just entered.

When mining (note: not "digging" it has to be mining) you get a chance of mining named ore rather than regular unnamed ore. I'm not sure what determines this chance, I imagine probably some combination of skill level and luck. When you have enough named ore you can smelt it in the usual way to create named metal which can then be used to make named components and so on - these components are then needed for "heavy" and "royal" armours.

Note: at every stage you should use ONLY named items, mixing them with non-named will remove the region name. For instance smelting named ore together with unnamed ore will yield unnamed metal.
