Difference Between Herbalism and Alchemy?
Just wondering what the big difference between herbalism and alchemy is. Seems as though the only reasons to go down herbalism is for flux and naphtha. Is there any reason to get your alchemy up? Not to sure as to what the big benefits of it is, from what I've read is it's just herbalism but with slightly more potent potions.

In a larger scale you would want some alchemysts, due to the fact of the as u said potent potions, and i mean things like antidotes when an enemy has poisons and even make poisons for your people, so in a way it is similar to herbalisam but its not slightly more potent id say its alot better, but as I said you don't need too many alchemysts if they are active.
In my mystical studies, Alchemy, seeking the inner spirituality, development and evolution of man through knowledge of nature!
Using not only herbs, but also gestures and minerals etc.

Herbalism would be a practical branch of Alchemy as well as other branches. Being the very Alchemy a branch.

Alchemy is mainly for poisons, antidotes and potions like the one that restore soft hp. For example you see your enemy uses flanged mace (blunt weapons) - you drink your potion (hot button, very fast) and as the blunt weapons takes soft hp it will regen itself and he will be fighting you for ages if he doesn't switch the weapon.
