How to get common lumps ?
I smelted Ore and got lumps of iron but if i want nails, i need to use common lumps ? Found nothing in the net how to make those. Cannot make a hammer because it wants common ingots, i only have iron ingots but not common, help please

Common means - Iron, steel or Vostaskus steel.

Yes but in the menu of the forge & anvil it wants "common lumps". I have 50 lumps of iron in the forge, heated up, and when i click "forging" and choose "nails" it says "0 common lumps", so i cannot make anything, you know what i mean ? I have to get common lumps anyhow, but how ?

The lumps need to be in your inventory, not in the forge.

you can use a primative hammer to make a blacksmith hammer ,

lumps are in cat. after smelting,you have igonts,bars and lumps to make your choice

The wiki i looked at, often it does not explain enough, in this case, how i do smelt exactly. Thats why i had to ask here. Elgar, Gligen, feel free to edit the Wiki please, it lives from us players.

you can also use a wooden mallet to make the blacksmith hammer without a quality loss like you get from the primitive...

Bit of advice, smelt every ore to ingot, and then smelt ingot to what you need (bar,lump)..

It will save you time and damage on your 'smelters'.
