Takes forever to load
LiF takes forever to load. I can sit and wait 10+ to 20+ minutes for it to finally load. Does, or has anyone else had this problem? I'm pretty sure it's just because of the amount of memory in my computer, but I want to make sure if other people had the same problem?

Edit: I should have mentioned this earlier. But the loading time I'm talking about is when I host my own private server. It's just before I can get to the character creation. But even after I make my character, it still takes a few minutes to load into the game itself.

It was a few patches ago that the game did start to take a while to load, but for me it's only about 5 min. or so, max. 10-20 seems a bit excessive. Not exactly sure why it does it but I think it may have something to do with the new bitbox video at startup. I've only had the issue since the video was implemented. May look further into it sometime now that you mention it.

Do u create a local server on ur PC? Then it's possible with not enough RAM

If Zero is experiencing the same thing as myself, it's when simply launching the client, local server or not. It just hangs for a while, sometimes with the initial splash screen visible and sometimes not. I disabled the splash screen, no difference. I've disabled the 2 intro videos, which is nice, but it still, no difference. It does seem to be RAM related. It's just weird how it started within the last 3 months, for me at least.

No issue here, and no visible change either during the last months. But I'm curious how much RAM you have (16 GB, Windows 10 in my case).

Yes I do. I always make a server just for me to play on. But whether or not I play on my own server, or an online server, the load time is pretty long. I honestly just assumed it has something to do with my PC itself. I only have 8 gigs of memory. So I'm kind of out of luck.

- Disable Videos -
1. Find your Life is Feudal folder - art folder - intro folder. Usually found at...
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Life is Feudal Your Own\art\intro
2. Creat a new folder inside of the intro folder.
3. Move the .xml and .ogv files into the newly created folder.
No more intro videos!

For anyone encountering this thread, as to date - it takes long to load, but it loaded in the end.
