why do you need to use crossbows to learn how to use bows it doesnt make sense to me because you can make bows way easier and sooner than crossbows not to mention you need bow craft 30 which all you can make is a simple bow and arrows and bolts like seriosuly what is this bs

because certain parts of this game, are backwards or don't even make sense. I noticed that to. I can craft a bow but I can't craft a crossbow. Also, why the heck do I need rope to make a practice weapon? I need the practice weapon way before I can make any rope. So your practice weapons go unused and I'm killing deer with my shovel.

Then my other major complaint... why do furnaces break at 1/2 durability? wth? Who codes this stuff?

Oh and one more thing... your inventory system and the way herbs are added to your inventory, and do not stack themselves, can drive a sane person mad.

you can make rope from plant fiber and yea some things are pretty backwords the learning curve for this game is like re tardedly higher than it needs to be

tbh back in the day the use of a crossbow was used only by the untrained masses were as a longbow or simple bow took ages to master also a carpenter could fashion a crosbow in a workshop but a bow took the skilled bowcrafter to make, maybe there just trying to keep the game historical

yea but you cant get the xbow for a while but you can get a bow like nothing

the new skill tree available on the MMO, soon on YO, won't ask you to level xbow for bows and you'll get both with the same skill, as all armors.

X-Bows are harder to make, but alot easier to use. Bow's are easy to make and harder to use, just like in RL

yea but requireing a xbow to learn how to use a regular bow doesnt make any sense the xbow is for those who dont want to learn to use the regular bow IRL the bow came way before the xbow and was used more often than not compared to an xbow still doesnt make sense to me why you cant use the bow with out learning an xbow
