2 handed swords

What would you recommend as currently the best 2h sword?
I see that the claymore is faster that the other two, but dmg wise it's not as great as it used to be when dmg was calculated based on strenght.
Would anyone consider that little higher speed good enough to prefer that weapon over a zweihander which does swing slower but deals considerably more damage?

2H SWORD = JUNK.
Currently OP weapon is : Grosser meser, boar spear. 2h Axe. and partisam

I used 2 handed axe but it's not as great as it used to be. I used the partisan before and it was awesome but since they removed the pounce, dealing with tower shields became problematic,
I dont care about gross messer too much, use to carry one as a secondary but the question i'm interested it refers to 2h swords.

you can treat 2h axe(broad axe)as a sword :)))))

Well, the only reason why i bothered with the axe, was the pounce ability, but lately I don't see people blocking at all. They do carry shields, but they dont block since it absorbs large part of the damage anyway. I also like the special attack on a 2h sword after drawing. Not only can you lean back to dodge most attacks, but hitting with that thing can take 1/2 of enemies health with a single swing. I wish 2h axe had a similar thing.
