Then, in a contract, you can assign a Stage to him.
Open the menu, Jobs, Active jobs, open the active job, you will see a list of stages.
On the right of each stage, there is a worker icon, click this to assign a task (that maybe you don't like) to a worker.
You will see on the main screen a progress bar for the worker's tasks. While he is doing that, you can prepare the next stage (buying materials, driving, getting concrete, etc).
As you gain money and experience levels, you may accept more than one contract atthe same time (hence the "Active JobS" in the menu).
To accept a 2nd contract, you need to hire a 2nd foreman and a 2nd worker.
So you can jump from one contract to the other, doing the tasks thatyou like, and assigning the others to your crew.
This is a good way to make a lot of money for buying extra vehicles.
But I think you will not gain experience from the tasks you assign to your workers, so you still need to do some work to unlock new sectors abd contracts.
