As far as I know is ther no other sense.
It seems like a good DLC location. It's good for games to put in places like that which you become 'familiar' with, then later on give that more detail. Kind of like when a TV show has a bit actor, who later on gets an actual recurring role where their character is developed.
I'm maxed on levels and think I've done all the missions with nothing like that. It'd be good DLC, or....
You could make a custom mission, and work something like that in. There don't seem to be a ton of workshop missions, so that's something to think about. I'm just now starting to learn how to make stuff, and I'll keep that thought in mind :)
You have to deliver a steam locomotive from the harbor to the train station in the village.
This station is also the starting point of the game, when you arrive in the village as a rookie.
I suspect the train stations, and associated trackage and bridges all around the map, were supposed to have a larger role in the game but this was dropped.
I suppose it would be possible to make a train using the vehicle editor, a train that you can't drive but that can be loaded with objects. Then you could use it in loading/unloading missions. But there is no lack of such missions.
I've played a bit with the vehicle editor, and I'm not sure if it's possible to bind a vehicle to the train tracks. You could make a wheeled train type of vehicle, but I haven't seen any way you could prevent it from going wherever it wants.
Have you done the locomotive mission? I have the DLC but don't recall seeing that.
Just a place to get cargo for delivery to a construction site.
