I was trying to play the game with the Steam Controller and edit my own Config. It's really hard to find a simple one, that includes all functions. Farming Simulator 2015 is really easy to play with the Steam Controller since you got those tooltips and a very nice default config which is working quite intuitive (with Left and Right Bumper buttons as mode shifter for the vehicle sub functions).
I gonna share my config as soon as I'm done, still got some issues with some vehicles. The problem of the Construiction Simulator is that every vehicle got it's own config. I really need one because I ordered a Steam Machine and gonna try play this game with SteamOS and the Steam Controller exclusively - I must be mad
To be honest that's the kind of things that's difficult to do for the dev team, and should come from the community. There are so many possible configs that the devs can't satisfy everyone. Some play with keyboard and mouse only, some have a controller, some have joysticks and wheels, etc. Possibilities are endless.
The job of the dev team is to make the game flexible, i.e. to provide a way to make your own config. The system in CS2015 could be easier, but is limited to what Unity offers, and by quirks in the Windows OS.
Users in the community should post their configs here, in no time we would have a lot of different ones.
Its one of those games you reset you're keyboard controls to play as some of the default settings are a bit confusing.
I don't know how anyone can play without this.
Its handy that you can bring up the option menu for all the modes functions, that helps to get to know you're machines controls.
