Small Trailer Ramps Won't Retract

Been at this for an hour and a half but I can't get Ramps on small trailer to go back up, not s=even sure how they got down. I am using key board and checked the ket assignment and it says use arrow left or right but when i hold either or noting happens, also tried holding left shift and arrow still nothing, this is insane anyone know iwhy the key commands don't work?

It should be left shift +up/down arrows for those I think.

Yap correct that is what the key commands in the options show, retract and deploy ramp on small Trailer is left shift + left and or right arrow key but they don't work. Can't get escavator back to base because the ramp won't go up so i can't move trailer and bring machine back to base, The tracks deploted the first time but won't go back up, I even went in and changed the two keys to something else and that didn't work.

Game is at a complete hault do to this stupid stuff, can't believe I paid for this game that doesn't even work, what a rip off.

If it didn't work, I wouldn't be playing it. Most people don't have this problem, so it's an installation problem, not a flaw in the game itself.
A few people do have this problem, I've seen it mentioned recently. I suggest you search the forums.

If it's not going up. You can always press Backspace and that will reset your machine.
If this problem continues, go to Steam then right click on Construction-Simulator 2015 then you will want to select Properties once you gone that far, you then want to click on Local Files then you click Verify integrity of game cache.

Try that and see if problem continues.

Other possible solutions that have worked for this problem:
- you have to keep pressing both keys until the ramp is finished moving. It is not am instant toggle function. Some people missed that.
- it can be a controller problem, see this thread.
- some people fixed the problem by clicking on "Reset to default" in the key assignment panel.

Right, no it doesn't work and yes i am still playing but i have to manually drive my equipmet on the road to the construction site because I can't use the truck to pull the trailer with equipment on it because it won't let me move because the ramps won't go up.

No Left shift and Q OR E is for the out rigger, the pole with the wheel on it that supports the trailer, that works. When i use Left Shift with Q or E i see the outrigging go up and down. It's te ramps on the small trailer will go down but will not go back up so i can't use and move trailer.

That may not be the way he has his set as.
But I see where you are coming from. What you have is the Default setting. Sometimes jumping out of the vehicle or resetting the vehicle by pressing backspace helps me.
Everyone seems to be having different issues with this.

OK thanks for help. Ok I used the Back space button and it did reset like you said but it still don't work. I also went to setting and reset game to default. So the ramps were up after using the backspace button but when I try to lift the outriging which is the support pole on the small trailer with the wheel thisis what happens.

To lower and drop outrigging it's left shift and Q or E, that is default. so what happens after using the backspace button which resets all equipment and ramps are retracted I try to lift the outrigging, I press and hold leftshift and then proceed to press and hold Q button which should lift the outrigging. As soon as i press the leftshift the ramps come down and the outrigging will not lift until the ramps have been completly deployed down. First of all the ramps should not begin to lower by just pressing the left shift key. If i remove my finger off the left shift key while the ramps start to deploy downward they stop and if i press the leftshift and either or the left arrow or right arrow which should retract or deploy the ramps nothing happens. wonce the ramps are fully deployed then the out riggers will lift or lower with the leftshift and or Q or E.

So using the Backspace button fixes the problem with the ramps being stuck in the deployed/down position which is what was causing me to not be able to move the truck while attached to the trailer but once using the back space and reseting which retracts the ramps I am now confronted with the ramps once again deploying when i press the left shift key to try to lift the outriggers so i can move the truck to job site and once that happens the key comands to lift the ramps still don't work.

I did do what you suggested and verified the integrity of game cache and it said it was varified and all was OK. I am not sure why something simple like this is glitched, It looks like I am still going to having to drive my equipment down the road to job sites, this trailer is useless.

That is pretty strange. It has worked for some of my friends who suffered simular issues. another common issue is one of my friends cannot use the Crawler Crane. not sure if there is a bug in the game or bug in the multiplayer mode.

well I tried my best there, sorry it's not working for ya. hopefully the developers will come across your issue with the outriggers.

Haha, well if it's doing that/! try this then.

• Press ESC
  
• Go to Company
  
• Go to Motor Pool
  
• Click the little Company Icon on the right side of the screen

That will Reset all your vehicles back to your Home Base.
Give this a try.

In the meantime, I am going to try and see if I cannot make my own Guide for this game since A: I love it so much and B: I love helping people.

If the problem continues, maybe consider making a new profile.

Why you complicate all, just spawn wehicle to your construc. sites via menu.
