I have tried that but it doesnt work
No it doesnt. Dont lie
I've been continuing playing since doing this and although I didn't notice much difference personally, I haven't encountered any N64 graphics-tier draw distances since. (Here's a comparison of the solution https://imgur.com/a/viU074o )
I remember reading somewhere back around the time the game released, everyone was whining about horrible performance so Ubisoft pushed a patch that forced draw distance to be horrendous to improve performance. Been having a decent time so far with the game, anyway.
Thanks, this helped quite a bit! It's a real shame that the Cheat Engine LOD mod that's out there doesn't work with the Steam version of the game.
Do the thing in the documents folder
in the folder that has the actual game, right click the application for the game, go to properties, and then under compatibility mode set it to Windows 8
Finally, go to the graphics settings in game and set them to the max resolution you can.
This worked for me, and I have 0 clue which one did it. try the last one first cause it's easier.
Its just placebo man, there is no way to fix this unless Ubisoft do something
It did fixed mine, though I didnt turn up my resolution to the highest (my machine cant handle it)
