ACU.EXE (has stopped working) *FIXED*
So generally, I've seen a lot of people who are dealing with this problem. after a half year I finally found it.

If your problem starts at the moment your game is running, and did not get past the uplay loading screen, then you came at the right place!

(RE)SOLUTION:
The problem begins with the moment uplay is starting ACU right?, and tells that 'ACU.EXE has stopped working'. If you are a user of AMD, and in my case Nvidia, then try not to adjust your resolution!

THAT MONITOR
You may have a pc-monitor that is too big, too small or even an tv screen.
Inside the Nvidia control panel, you can adjust your settings to the optimal size of your screen... in case of this game, you don't.

TO FIX THIS:
Go to (search)Nvidia control panel > Display > Change Resolution > if possible, set it on 1920x1080 (or everything with: 'native' or 'recommended') > NO customize, but if you need to make use of it, be sure that the hight and length are in balance. otherwise it will not work. > save changes. > have fun (?)

GO PLAY YOUR GAME!
