For a sheer example, it's one of the few AC games that I still haven't finished nor do I intend to replay it at any time in the future.
Apart Assassin's Creed: Unity (AC:U) map overflow with "fetch the stick" side quests and activities that contribute exactly ZERO towards Arno's character development as an Assassin to further hone his skills and alongside with AC: Odyssey that trully makes a parody of all previous AC games in the saga / franchise (with its "All is permitted" crap creed, including constantly killing civilians not having an Hidden Blade in the base game version and so on sort of similar saga time loops continued discrepancies b**ls**t).
Imho, the only worse AC game than those two can only be considered the AC: Liberation - HD, which was a PC remaster of the PS Vita console exclusive (and it was a rather linear and shallow game from the get go, with a few exceptions to how it's story is told).
