For now i just put my virtul memory to my SSD see if that helps a little , my main HDD is a Raptor 3.5 " 10 K RPM and by no means is slow .

you think with 12 GB of ram you wouldn't need virtual memory would you ?

Should be ok, I have seen the game once to go at 12GB here because the system shares up to 50% of my 16GB to the 4GB of my GTX980 but usually when I play I'm much around 7-8 GB ram usage. At least I have everything on SSD and when I play SLI the SSD usage is 0%, while the CPU of my overclocked 4770K is around 50-60% stable usage and 90-100 both GPU usage

857 ? for me, it's 720 instead (maybe because i've the game on uplay and not on steam)...To really know where your saves are
1)Open the file Class101 said
2)Launch the game
3)Let the game makes a save
4)Go back to the file and find the saves at the time you closed the game (e.g. 11/30/2014 01:04)
5)That's all !!!

Now, since the lost saves from Black Flag (don't trust Uplay cloud) I use to rar my saves and put it on a cloud (dropbox, googledrive...)
