Lol! You are a korean guy trying to teach about history someone from the middle of Europe which his brother is an archeologist! Lol...
NAPOLEON WAS A BAST*RD THAT ATTEMPTED TO DELETE FROM THE MAP A WHOLE CIVILIZATION.
Shut up about things you dont know american boy, and go study your european history books, if you have one...
A korean guy living at USA trying to teach center-european history to a center-european universitary guy whose brother is an archeologist, HAHAHAHHAHA. Ive studied the history of Europe pretty well boy, opposite to you. I bet you have never touched a book of european history anyway...
Regarding Napolean being an assassin, this entire game was about how the lines aren't drawn clearly. Just because you think all templars are evil and all assassins are good doesn't mean it's true. People will use the group they feel benefits them at the time.
Likely we'll be seeing more of this double crossing within the ranks in future games.
I think you should be the one shutting up about things you don't know
- Arno is cooperating with Napoleon, nothing more. Remember this is way before Napoleon's reign of power (if you look at the first meeting with Napoleon, he was seeking something in the king's office. While Arno found the assassin evidence, he grabbed a chest and opened it and something bright was glowing and said "Incredible"...then quickly packs it in his coat saying it is just "a cornucopia". That is when he held the apple of eden, a message that was told in AC2 Glyphs).
- Elise is not manipulating Arno in any way, she is simply after revenge. Arno gets kicked out of the order because he is taking matters in his own hands without the consent of the Assassin Council (when he assassinated a Templar without their knowledge, they weren't happy about it). He does this because he believes the Assassins are in danger and does all this for redemption. And with the Death of Mirabeu and Pierre Bellic, they really are skeptical about Arno's Actions.
- It is pretty odd indeed to be carrying a powerful artifact around. Anyways, after Elise's death, Arno was brought back into the Order (this wasn't shown in-game, only on the novel). If I remember correctly:
"He continued to visit Élise's grave, and proclaimed himself redeemed of his previous mistakes. There, he was met by the outcast Assassin Bernard Ruddock, an acquaintance of Élise. Ruddock gave Arno a letter that Élise had written in the event of her death, explaining a number of her actions and directing him to find her chest of keepsakes. She only asked that Arno allow Ruddock to keep a pack of letters that she had been given by Jennifer Scott (Edward Kenway's Daughter, Haytham's Sister) on her trip to London, which would allow Ruddock to gain favour with the Assassin Council and rejoin the Creed.
Arno agreed to honor her wishes, took Ruddock's address and told him he would be in touch once he had obtained the letters and Élise's chest, Arno also agreed that he would endorse any efforts he made to win favor with the Assassins. Arno traveled to the Maison Royale where he met Élise's teacher, Mr. Weatherall and was given the chest as promised, but the visit soon turned sour.
Ruddock had followed Arno and betrayed him, attempting to kill him on the order of the British Templars. However, Ruddock was killed by Mr. Weatherall before he could shoot Arno. Arno stayed with Élise's friends during the years following her death, having been invited to stay by her former maid out of respect to her mistress. He also rejoined the Brotherhood sometime afterwards, eventually becoming a Master Assassin."
- You're right about that part. Fortunatly this is occuring in the animus/helix, therfore, it really didn't happen in the real timeline.
- In Modern day storyline, you are right. There is little to no relationship with previous game.
The Story is from France, so of course they set Napoleon in a good light. Napoleon rose in military ranks very quickly because of the leader's brother of the revolution fought beside him. He noticed his brother, and he gave Napoleon the rank as a brigadier in an instant. Napoleon took control over an revolution that didn't go as the frenchmen had planned and got France into their greatest era throughout history.
The DLC gives him a bad light though, Arno subtly remarks how dangerous Napoleon is, and the whole Dead Kings campaign basically consists on a quest to prevent Napoleon from acquiring First Cvi technology.
