Assassin's Creed Unity error 0xc000007b *PLEASE HELP*

Hi all!

Recently I bought AC Unity and I installed it fine and all, but instead of being able to play the game I payed 60$ for, Every time I try to launch it it says...

"The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application."

I am incredebly lost and I really need help. From what I can tell, lots of people have been having this problem so please help. Frankly i'm pissed off that Ubisoft would release a game this broken, it's like they're turning a little bit more into EA every game release. Well please help and god speed.

Reinstall your Visual C++ redistributables, that should be in the game's install folder.

Thanks gamertaboo, but I think my direct X is corrupt so I'm gonna update it and it should work. Thanks for the tip though! :)

That was going to be my next suggestion. Let me know if that works, I've seen other people have this problem as well.

Yea, so I'm just gonna completly reinstall windows. I'm getting a new hard drive soon so it's the perfect time. After that, it should definatly work, the windows i have now is from 2009 anyway so yeah...
