Oh Boy so I guess it's true, and you have to go through a BIG thing to delete a save game. I mean what happens if you want to start from square 1? you have to call Ubisoft Support and ask them to reset it once and then if you ask again at a later date they charge you $4.99. Ok maybe that's a bit an over exxageration but you get the point.
After that you load up the game, start a new game, turn the save sync back on, get a save started with a new game, and quit out, tell it to use the local save file instead of cloud. And thats all there is to it, not as straight forward as a game function, but it works.
That's not a big deal, had to do that to fix a sync issue before, thanks for the information.
Yeah its no big deal honestly, people are blowing a lot of stuff massively out of proportion, not all of it, but steam discussions tend to start a sort of mass hysteria.
Well, the instructions to do it were confusing at first to me. Not to mention the folder is named random numbers and it wa like 864 for me. While the instructions said 720. Luckily I noticed the date of the save. Yea though, everything on the forums has an extra dose of rage added to it.
File location for me
Computer->local C drive -> (Program files x86)->Ubisoft->ubisoft game launcher->save games ->*some rediculous number crazy folder name* -> 857 for me
