You have to login into your uplay account inside the app and also make sure the companion app inside of the game - game options is enabled.
Maybe it's an issue with the app itself, read multiple times that certain users didn't manage to sync it.
Take a look at the comments here for example:
http://assassinscreed.ubi.com/en-US/community/liveupdates/live_updates_details.aspx?c=tcm:152-184745-16&ct=tcm:148-76770-32
Nope it wont Sync Please tell me some alternatives.
1. Download "Andy" http://www.andyroid.net/
2. Run the installer, it does take some time to install and might look a bit weirdly while installing as it does move a bunch of files arround.
3. Reboot your PC as it says
4. Launch Andy, a small icon should appear in the left right corner of your Taskbar.
(Screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/OHtPEnW.png)
5. Right click on it and press "Start Andy", it will now launch the actuall Android Emulator
(That might take a bit)
6. Left click on the "lock" and move the inner thingy onto the lock to unlock your "Handy" (Hard to explain, just like an original handy that you've to unlock)
7. An original install menu will appear to setup your "Handy". Just go through it and login to your Google account if it asks for it. (Had to login twice)
8. You should now be on the main page of your "Handy"
9. Press on the "Google Play" symbol and search for "Assassins Creed Unity"
10. Install the App and launch it
11. Inside the App login into your Uplay account
12. Launch your game now and enable "Companion App" in it's settings, then load your save.
(So you're actually ingame)
13. Alt+tab out of the game and go back to the App
14. Press on the Symbol in the upper left corner to open a small window, there should be "2 arrows" Press on them to rescann for your game.
You should now be synced with your game, congrats!
(A Screenshot to proof that it actually works https://i.imgur.com/V0RCD0Z.jpg)
Did you try to reconnect inside the app (upper left corner)? After that it worked it, but you have to be ingame with arno (he has to be somewhere in the world). Otherwise it may also work when you restart the app.
If it still doesn't work it's pretty sure buggy on their side, so you have to wait for them to update the companion app
Anyways sounds like an improvement if the game is telling you that you're connected...
It is and its connected because i just unlocked a new area and it appeared on my mobile game it just wont sync so im thinking its ubisofts problem atm.
It may be superior performance it also looks like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and is losing market share not sure how it loses market share when you can only buy it but it must be that good. ;-) Im waiting for windows 10 TBH.
