Heavy weapons vs Swords
So what is the point of using heavy weapon when i see swords with the same dmg but better speed and parry(costing the same amount of money to obtain)? Kinda makes them pointless

Longer reach? Though far too often, you will end up with Arno waiting while you frantically spam your melee button to hit a guy on the ground...

So that is it? Just the reach? Seems sad that they have same dmg as sword while being 3 times slower to swing, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ i was hoping to use heavy weapon but now i don't see the point, and reach is not that important since arno moves to the enemy to attack him, ahhhh

Actually, the sword and the 2 handers can have the same damage on the chart, but the heavier weapons do more. Long for reach, heavy for heavy hits. For instance. If you shoulder charge a spear user with a sword, he stops you. If you do it with a heavy weapon, he doesn't. Also, the heavy sword can kill a 5 star in 3 hits with only 4 stars. A sword takes anywhere from 4 to 5 hits to do this in the same level range. Heavy is stronger, but much slower. You also leave yourself open if you do miss a parry, cause you know. Arno loves to spin swords like batons.

Exactly my point, swords are 2x or 3x faster than heavy weapon while doing the same or close the dmg of the heavy weapon making them completely useless, plus i just compared the reach of the heavy weapons and it was actually lower than most swords, so i am guessing the swords are the best weapons in the game?

I think everyone agrees.

After some testing with same priced(heavy and sword) weapons i can confirm that the heavy weapons do indeed deal a bit more damage, it takes 1-2 less hits than the sword to kill an enemy.

This isn't true. I have the very last Heavy and very last One Hand weapon and they both do about the same damage (2 hits to kill a lvl 4 enemy with Heavy, and maybe 3 with the OH) but the OH swings 3 or 4 times faster and is much easier to follow up with after a parry. The Heavy does NOT should charge through a spear users block, they will grab and push you with it just like other weapons. Basically, you get all of the pro's with OH without the cons of being slower and having a longer opening if you miss a parry
